My first deal so don't kill me. I was just at Best Buy yesterday looking at the Sonos Playbase wondering whether or not to pull the trigger. The tag on the shelf said it was marked down to $579.99 instead of $699. I confirmed it with the sales associate who looked it up and said that even though on the website it said $699, it was definitely marked down in store to $579.

No HDMI ARC makes these antiquated.

True, but it's still the best option if you want a Sonos sound bar and want something better sounding than the Beam. I already have two Sonos Ones in my living room that I would like to use as surround sound rears with a Sonos sound bar, but I'm not sure the Beam sounds good enough for my liking.

I get that. I currently have a Beam + 2 Ones + Sub setup, and it sounds great. Albeit the sub is the real star of the setup, as it, obviously, rounds everything out.

I'm hesitant to get the beam. I keep reading they have lipsync issues with LG OLED
