Tried these and they break much quicker and more dust/smoke when they break. Might get more for your buck but not as durable
These are not for internal use.

I would wait until they're $50 just like the Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker sabers I got a while back. For anything more, you're paying for an overpriced holoween toy.

Tempted, but do you think my 11yo nephew is too old for this? He has taken a liking to outdoor activities and sports, etc
Probably best to ask him directly.

There are just too many other companies making brighter blades that you can spar with in this price range nowadays. Ten years ago, Force FX was amazing. Today, it's "meh".

I'd like to know too. I've been watching for saber deals and I always only see the sales for 100 or so.

Get a YDD saber. They're cheaper, and made for sparring, so he won't break it immediately: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=ydd+sa..._sb_noss_2

Is it as good as the $400 sabers from Vader's Vault? No, but it's $75.

If you want to fight with lightsabers, use 3/4inch PVC pipe and a large size pool noodle. A bit of spray adhesive (although many things will work), and sanding the pipe to rough it up a bit will ensure the noodle sticks. Easiest lightsaber ever even with appropriate colors.

To get the full effect you have to fill them with gasoline first might be able to find an ifixit or something for instructions to build them:
