I have been monitoring bedding items the last few days but haven't really posted because it is subjective what styles people may like and I wasn't just aiming for the cheapest prices, just the best values for some styles I liked. Personally, I mainly focused my search on two brands though, Eddie Bauer and Woolrich. I looked at pillows, throws, and blankets mostly. But there are a few other brands in there as well.
Many sites have bedding sales that expire today 10/6 so I thought I'd post this consolidated thread.
Macys has its lowest price of the season sale going on right now. You'll get free shipping if you spend over $49. It is the site that offers the highest cashback. I found that it was the best site to get a good value for throws, individual blankets and some pillows. The bedding sets were well-priced but you could find better deals sometimes at other stores. Often time you'll find the bedding sets for 50% off and you can stack a 20% coupon (DEALS) on top of it.
$6.99 Calvin Klein Down Alternative Gusset Pillows Standard/Queen [macys.com]
I went into the store to test these and liked these pillows. Compared to past sales of ~$5-6 Ralph Lauren pillows, which those bounce back immediately after pressing hand and releasing, these Calvin Klein pillows don't immediately reform back to shape when putting pressure on them, basically allowing you to sink into them and then they slowly reform back to shape (sort of like memory foam but not quite).
$12.99 Bear Reversible 18" Square Decorative Pillow [macys.com]
$12.99 Moose Reversible 18" Square Decorative Pillow [macys.com]
$14.99 Woolrich Reversible Plaid Softspun to Berber 18" Square Pair of Decorative Pillows [macys.com]
There are other designs for $17.99 as well
$15.99 Bear Applique Grey Felt Breakfast Pillow [macys.com] Multiple colors availabe
$19.99 Cozy Polar Bear Natural Square Pillow [macys.com]
While I liked many designs, I had to rule many of them out as I found any throw that didn't have a side of at least 70 inches meant that it was too short to use as a snuggling blanket (one side tucked slightly under feet to prevent cold air from invading, while providing enough blanket to cover up to the neck). I wish all throws were at least 70+ inches on one side. But anyways... these are around $15.99 to $19.99 depending on design. Pay attention to the sizes if you like the larger throws like I do

$19.99 Nautica Herringbone Check Plaid 50" X 70" Throw [macys.com]
$19.99 Nautica Center Coast Stripe 50" X 70" Throw [macys.com]
Here are some examples of the sherpa blankets with nice designs. The queen and king sizes were best value for the amount of fabric you get per square feet. I posted a few examples which usually have other sizes available too. It's $29.99 for the twin size (60"x90"), $35.99 for full/queen size (90"x90"), and $42.99 for king size (108"x90"). Personally, I wouldn't go with twin size as the value isn't there.

Kohls has the triple stacking coupons. ( https://slickdeals.net/f/13419226-kohls-triple-stacking-coupoons-on-bedding-bath-home-decor-kohl-s-cash-through-oct-6?v=1&src=SiteSearch
Best price points were either 141 for the free shipping. Anything after that was essentially 36% discounted, essentially a little over a third off the sale price. One of the cheapest place for bedding sets.
If you spend $125, you can have the 20% discount applied, the $20 off 100 applied, and another 20% off applied, in that order. But you pay shipping because the subtotal is under $75 with discounts.
If you spend $142, you can have all of the above discounts applied plus you get free shipping (saving about $8).
Otherwise if you spend under $125, you can get the 20% bedding discount and the friends/family 20% discount equaling 36% net discount.
Finally if you spend over $142, basically whatever the price difference over that amount, you're getting a 36% discount on that.
Plus you earn some Kohl's cash for future spending...
If you stack the coupons right, you can pay around half the listed sale pricing, so a queen quilted set is around $45 and a king is around $50. But in general if you're not optimizing the price points for coupons, you should calculate as a 36% discount on sale prices.
Home depot has the 20% coupon (BEDBATH20), plus 10% extra coupon when signing up to receive their style and decor emails @ https://pages.homedepot.com/styleanddecor
-- it took about an hour to get the email coupon
Also delivery is free after spending over $45 dollars on the site.

For some spot items, such as the Eddie Bauer 100% Cotton King Size Blue or Bone color, you can get that for only $19.59 after stacked coupons. These are some pretty decent nuetral colors for an amazing price for the size.
Target has some sales here and there weirdly. Quilted sets. 15% off with Target Circle too.
(Search link for Eddie Bauer sorted by lowest price, browse for bedding sets mainly to see some random sets for $60ish for queen size)
Amazon has mainly price matched most of Macy's prices with a few exceptions and were sometimes slow to do that. Nice for single items but can't take advantage of high percentage cashback (like Macys)
-- but there are a lot more matched prices from Macys and wider variety plus cashback from macys (slickdeals has their own cashback and others have up to 10% cashback)
$35.99 Eddie Bauer Mountain Plaid Blanket, Full/Queen, Red [amazon.com]
$42.99 Eddie Bauer Classic Fair Isle Blanket King Black [amazon.com]
Of course costco has the throws too but they are in basic designs (solids). But they are good sizing 60x70. It's best to go in store to get best pricing though.
