FYI... RAM is removable and there are two slots, 32 Gb maximum.

How is the AMD A9 real world experience compared to say i3?

NVM - found this. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/comp...3152vs3225

Also are this similar to size/weight "slim" as HP slim 14" deal in Walmart for $269 ryzen3 or $299.97 i3 deal in Costco? Price is really nice compared to other recent 14" HP deals.

Thank you OP

Edit: found one with much better 8th generation i3 processor for only $40 more. Could be a better choice for some.

This also has a RJ45 Ethernet port, an important feature for some people. Nice find!

What do you guys think about using laptop as a desktop? I mean when I am home, I like to use keyboard, mouse and big screen. Is laptop cheaper compare to desktop for the same performance? or desktop is cheaper? I feel like desktops outlasts laptops because of better heat dissipation.

For same performance, desktop will always be cheaper than laptop

Every desktop has better heat dissipation than any laptop. You pay more to get smaller components at any level of performance. So, if you don't need portability, get a desktop and you'll get a lot more for your money, if you want portability, you might pay twice as much for similar specs in a laptop.

to all the people asking about playing games on this, probably not without having to set the resolution well below 720p

I think the cheapest laptops that can handle light gaming (esports titles) would be a Ryzen 3200u with Vega 3 graphics and even then you're looking at 720p/low settings for games like PUBG
