Staples has a sitewide(I think) code for $20 off a $75 online purchase with code 17260. Shipping is free. I know Staples is particular about their coupon codes but I don't think it's targeted, as I wasn't signed in when I first saw it. First post, sorry if anything's missing or incorrect.

Your answer is misleading because by saying it is better because it has duplex printing, No, they both have duplex printing. So it was just a confusing statement that doesn't add useful info. Is it better because you were lucky enough to find a clearance deal for $50 that was highly YMMV? Of course it was. For you. But crapping a deal because you found something on a lucky clearance deal for cheaper really doesn't help any of us. I see that same model at $139, or $99 for refurbished.

I agree in general terms however I think this term will evolve as the original purpose is rapidly fading away. Kind of like the guys that used to have to deliver blocks of Ice for your Icebox. The Fax only works if you have a land line. Now obviously for a business office, that's probably still the case. I'd bet many home users no longer have one.

Even things that used to always require a fax, like banking and real-estate transactions, now are done with .pdfs and online signature systems and such.

But yes, I remember when AIOs also had a handset you could pick up and talk on the phone while telling the receiving party to switch over to their fax. Perhaps the model you are looking for is All-in-the-Past!

I just bought the 2390dw for same price. What is the difference between that and this one 2395dw
Seems 2395 prints faster has ethernet and more memory

Might've worth getting for $5 more.

Not sure how long I have to return the other one never opened it

Seems I have 3 days left to return the other one.

Waiting for others to weigh in if the $5 more for this one is worth it

Brother NMC-L2685DW is better, duplex printing. It is $50 in Walmart store YMMV
This has duplex printing:

I made this comparison earlier, it seems to me that the 2390dw doesn't have an Ethernet port, touch screen, and won't duplex scan, while the 2395dw has/can do those things. It's possible I missed something though. It's up to you if these features are worth the $5 and return process.

a flatbed scanner like this has NO WAY OF DUPLEX SCANNING
duplex printing only
and while i am on my soap box the lack of a FAX (yes some still use it) means its not an true AIO

Ethernet is worth it for me alone. Also a bit faster printing. I just need to get the old one back to Staples by the 9th!

I've purchased nothing but Brother printers for the past 10 years or so, including a big color laser a few months ago, and I have to say I'm disappointed that they're pushing more and more firmware updates which break 3rd party toner cartridges.
