Second guessing my recent purchase of a Dell 5480 factory refurbished after looking at this. Mine has an I7 8565u, 128SSD, 1TB hard drive and mx150 graphics, but only 8gb ram. Not a 2 in one either and so no touch screen. Paid $547.00. It seems pretty responsive, but I am thinking it wasn't all that slick now and may return it. Main use is home office with some video editing. Any thoughts? Should I be looking for a laptop with a Ryzen 7 with Vega 10? arrrg!!!! I just wanted to stay under $600.00 and in the 13"-14" screen size.
Any comments welcome.

Laptop came yesterday. I went through about 3 rounds of system updates, remove apps I don't need, setting up accounts for the family, and everything looks good. Here are few things that I was skeptical about, but turned out ok.

Brightness: compared to Latitude 7480 (work laptop) this one is a bit dimmer, but not by much. With the sun shinning on the screen, I can still navigate, surf the web, type this comment, etc.

Couldn't figure out how to activate Windows without the product key. Then I read somewhere OEM has product keys in the firmware and it's tied with motherboard? So from the activation screen in settings, I just clicked on troubleshoot, it seem to activated itself.

Watched some videos on youtube, vudu, skipped around the scenes, everything seem smooth. After about an hour, it was just warm where the vent was located on the bottom. Overheating doesn't seem to be an issue here.

fingerprint reader was responsive. Touchpad was responsive. Nothing impressive, but nothing to complain about either.

Overall it was a good investment for me.

Windows 10 ties to MAC address/hardware. No traditional key necessary.
