For anyone not close to a Microcenter and able to get a 1600 for $80. No integrated graphic but still cheap price for a true budget build. 1300X has no OC, 1200 can be tweaked.

*Sorry about the links, they should be good now, tried to update from my phone

Will hold out for a month or two and see how good the deals become. No reason to jump on this now.

Username checks out. Looks like stores are clearing out old inventory as the new gen is priced so low its hard to find a price for these moving forward.

Totally not worth it. The 3200 was on sale for $75 earlier this month. If you can wait, then do

If you can get the 2200g for $60 from Microcenter or the MB combo on the $80 1600 CPU.. Would it not be better choices?

That's definitely a better choice. However, not everyone lives near a Microcenter

Agreed. Can't see it. If someone wants to build something super cheap they should go integrated with a G model. If they already have a GR card, they should buy another cheap CPU like a 1600 or 2600.

What's a cheap motherboard compatible with these CPUs?

A320 boards will be the lowest price, but if you want to OC the 1200 you will need a B350 or B450. I peraonally used the Gigabyte A320 with the 1600 stock (B350 boards are hard to come by) and a Sapphire Pulse 5704GB. The 1300X ran smoother (without voiding the warranty on the 1600)and had no issue playing AAA games at 1080.
