The #1 ingredient in wasabi is...you guessed it...horseradish

the 40Oz ones are cheaper per ounce, both natural and salted(coupon on product page) are almost same price with S&S

Exactly, I got the 40oz lightly salted one for $12.98 (i.e. 32.5 cents per oz) after $2.32 S&S coupon it showed on the product page:

These taste any good?
They taste great, I'm just disappointed that the salt and vinegar is not on sale also.

For those who really would like to argue about "real" wasabi, do you have any idea at all on the price of a real wasabi root? Would you think you can get this bag of almonds for the same price with genuine wasabi flavor???

Every time these get posted, someone has to make this asinine comment. Wasabi served in North America is almost always sourced from horseradish and not sourced from the actual wasabi root - no different from what you're getting at the sushi restaurant
Fine truffles advertised; common mushrooms served?

I reiterate, the product should be labeled "Wasabi Flavored."

Lightly salted is 5.99. Whole is 7.99. That's a 33% increase.

Just got back from a local Walgreens where the Blue Diamond Almonds Whole Natural is 19.2oz (Special packages labeled 20% MORE FREE) for $4.99.

So not only it is 37.5% cheaper, you're also getting 20% more making almost 50% cheaper than Amazon LMAO

I'll have to check another Walgreens since only the Whole Naturals were in 20% More bags.

Did you clip the coupon for $1 to make it $4.99?

$4.99 for 19.2oz bags=$4.15/lb

FWIW, Was just in my local Walgreens, and they have the same deal. 5.99 for the 16oz size of all flavors. That price is also available on the Walgreens website.
