This is insane. Apparently it's the full version too, and not Max-Q. (Which is the sucky version)

Not slick. For the price, it should be a G5 5590 with a 9750H with the 144 Hz screen.

Ridiculous - a G5 5590 has never been anywhere near this price with a 144Hz and 9750H. Wake up, you're dreaming.

Not sure where you got that info - questions and reviews on Best Buy and Amazon both say it's the Max-Q version.

Wasn't this $715 a month ago AND you got a $150 Visa GC too? I realize no time machines but this looks pretty weak in comparison.

You are the one who needs to wake up and realize this isn't a good deal. I have a Dell G5 5590 right beside me with a 144 Hz screen, 9750H, and 1660 Ti. It was $944 + tax on Rakuten, with 25% cashback as points, 1% cashback through Rakuten, and 10% through PayPal + Discover. That brings it to a total of $914 for the laptop after cash backs and $235 in Rakuten points ($679 if you value the Rakuten points as cash, since you can buy Xbox and Playstation gift cards there for a 15% discount). I used the points to upgrade the laptop to 32 GB of memory and swapped out the HDD for a 1 TB SSD.

It turns out that it IS Max-Q, but the Max-Q 1660 Ti still destroys the regular full sized GTX 1060 6GB, which is huge.

You should realize that deals like that usually don't come back and that doesn't mean its the "New Price". You used CB points and rewards and act like it was a sale price. The price was $944 on Rakuten, everything else was a specialized discount that usually doesn't last and you have to qualify for (Discover, Paypal etc). To act like you expect <$799 out the door price now is silly.
