Will be very YMMV. My local one had ton of them so unless they sell out I doubt they will lower the price. I bought one for my sister and it's decent especially the screen and lighted keyboard is a good feature to have
So far I just upgraded the memory but one can install NVME drive in the M2 slot to have faster boot and more storage. It also has empty space and connector for 2.5" 7mm drive but you'll need the cable though (can skip on mounting bracket by just simply using double adhesive tape since SSDs are light).
There are 6 screw on the bottom I believe that once taken out the bottom cover can be lifted. Two are on edges of front rubber bumper, one in the middle and 3 behind rear bumper, I just took thin dull blade to slightly move bumper to side instead of ripping it all off.

Agreed.. this is a great price.. but I very highly doubt I'd get this deal at my local Costco. It's still a decent deal at $299.

I paid $249 at my local NJ store. Great one if you can get it with 225, lucky you.

I bought one of these for my 4th grader last year for school work and it has been perfect for her needs. It was $300 in November last year, so I'm kind of surprised to see it still at that price for a lot of folks, but I'd definitely buy another one for $225 to $250 if my local Costco had them priced that low.

went to my local Costco.. there were still several in stock but still at the $299 price.. I wonder if anyone knows the policy on price reductions.. because I never see these Costco deals.. at some point in the future, the item just disappears from the local Costco. so, who decides to lower the price vs just shipping them back or to somewhere else? where do the remainder go?

is there any way to check the local price online? went to my local and still 299.97. They probably had more than 40... at least that's the amount of flat cardboard on the floor.
