That information came from an answer from a third party merchant who answered a question more than 1.5 years ago presumably about their own inventory. I don't think that applies to amazon inventory in general, and even if the merchant's inventory were co-mingled with amazon's, it probably wouldn't be applicable to what is in the warehouse today.

Usually (not always) products with expiration under 1 year are transferred and sold by the amazon warehouse or outright liquidated. To leave a product in-stock (as new) with that close of an expiration date (e.g. within 30 days) would be a mistake in Amazon's inventory management algorithm and refundable without question or return.

I had a hard time posting it. I got urlhasbeenblocked replacing the first part of the product title on Amazon and the post was taken down almost immediately thereafter.
