Sadly they still screwed up this release. I ended up having to import all of the seasons from Germany. In the US, they released the syndicated versions on DVD and the German and UK releases got the unedited original airing episodes. According to the reviews, this is also just the syndicated episodes. Great for a nostalgia trip, but be aware that you will be getting episodes with some content missing. Region 2 has the most complete DVD set with all episodes being uncut except possibly 1.

it's an 80's sitcom about an alien who eats cats. obviously it's a good show.

So is this actually a good show? I was too young to watch it on when it came on TV back in the day. It sounds like people have very mixed opinions of the show.

I'm amazed at the amount of scenes that were cut off from the U.S. syndicated/DVD release.

Loved this show. Can you perhaps share with us the link to the most complete box set? Thanks.

FYI: the walmart version DOES NOT include an instawatch copy.

Shame, because it if did, I'd buy this release immediately.

This is the set that has all of the uncut episodes. This is all 4 seasons. It should play on your DVD player if it isn't region locked. All Episodes play with the original English dialog like they aired in the US. The only difference is the packaging is in German and there is an optional audio track that has German dubbed-in voices. But by default they play in full English.
