Best Buy and Amazon have the Sony XQD reader for $50 which is $25 lower than the normal price. Amazon wont have it in stock until next week so Best Buy is the better option right now. I am sure this will be even lower during BF.

$50 is a good deal to read Sony cards? LOL No vote (or judgement) here. Sony lost me when they installed rootkits on music CD's, years ago...

Might want to mention this is a USB 3.1 reader, and it's very fast and you can work off of USB with it.

The read/write speeds are much faster. Very fast CF cards have write speeds of 160 MB/s. While there aren't many XQD card manufacturers, Sony's XQD cards write at 400 MB/s and the new CFexpress card can write at 1400 MB/s. This becomes very useful for folks shooting very high framerates of high res photos or anyone hoping to shoot high frame rate high def video

Exactly, I believe there are only a few cameras that support XQD right now mostly Nikon and Sony at the moment but as time progresses I am sure this will move into the Canon cameras once Sandisk, Kingston and others others start to bring the prices down for the cards.
