Good price, great TV. Too bad it's on eBay. I know a lot of people have good luck on eBay but I am not one of them. I would never spend $1700 on eBay for a tv. It seems like it will be a warranty nightmare.

Purchased my 65" LG C8 from this retailer couple months ago (Firstclasstv parent company ielectrica) via eBay, had zero issues. Very happy with the transaction and love my OLED. This is a great TV at a good price. Not sure if they're authorized dealer for Samsung though.

I also bought a 75" Samsung from them a few months back and they are an authorized Samsung retailer.

Shipping was fine via freight (a little slow since it shipped from New Jersey while I live in CA), but the display had some spotting issues which Samsung refunded via warranty without issue since they were out of parts to repair.

If you are the type that needs instant gratification, B&M is always better and more convenient.

Replaced it with a new Samsung or a refurbished?

Last year Sony was honoring its warranties and pissing off customers by replacing defective TVs with refurbished TVs.

Go with this one.
Sony is a pale comparison of what it once used to be...

The Sony X950G is not as good as its predecessor the X900F and both are overpriced.

No offense to them, but they should have read the actual warranty. Almost every modern warranty reserves the right to fix, replace (with new or refurbished), or refund at the company's discretion. Some of those refunds even allow for depreciation.

Wow what an opinion. I've owned both, this is incorrect.

Sony X950G is the best high end LED for sports. It has better motion and upscaling even than the Q90. It has its faults elsewhere, but saying X950G is not as good as X900F makes no sense. The X950G has the much better processor and is brighter. It hits higher nits by far
