There is a link from the other sams deal with steps where you can get up to $70 stacking the Discover offer and other deals, it worked for me. Link [reddit.com] or this [andhrafriends.com].

It doesn't state anywhere that the $45 is only for the $100 Plus membership. It just says $45. That's it. Doesn't specify what type of membership.

I have this email as well. There's very little information. There is a join now button that likely is a referral link that goes to the sams club website to join, but there is no mention of the discover deal or the $45 credit back. It says for new memberships but when you click the join now link you can actually renew from that page as well. It will supposedly take up to ten weeks for credit to be shown on your discover card.

I've never done these statement credit deals with discover before. Amex is way more reliable as their offers are listed in your account, which you have to specifically activate, with very specific fine print and they usually send you an email the moment the offer is redeemed.

My membership is about to expire. The 45 discover deal or the 25 amex deal? I would obviously go discover since it's the better deal. I also want to know if it works with renewals as it doesn't specifically state otherwise like the amex. Poor documentation just sucks.

Amex is more reliable with the exception of Sam's. I can't find a single confirmation that anyone got the membership credit from Amex. I went through their link and didn't get it. Amex says Sams told them it didn't qualify. Wish u had gotten this offer sooner.

Amex offer explicitly says, atleast for me, that:

Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 1/31/2020, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.

May be I will have to wait until Jan to figure out if it worked for me or not.
