Since there are so many Alienware fans on Slickdeals, I thought I would post this for those of us who missed the Frontpage deal last month.

Dell EPP [dell.com] has Alienware m15 gaming laptop for $1,469.99 with coupon code 200OFF1599.

Here's a review of the laptop by one of the top YouTube reviewers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S...8jM&t=324s . (Linus' review unit has a slightly updated 9750H CPU vs this deal's 8750H (no significant difference in performance) and a 20% faster 2080 MaxQ GPU vs this deal's 2070 MaxQ. Also, it's more than twice the price at a cool $3,300Smilie Oh yeah, and it has 240Hz display vs this deal's 144Hz for those interested in eSports)

Before buying this I would recommend researching the tdp on this 2070 max q. Although the reference tdp is 115 watts. OEMs are notorious for putting up tdp as low as 80-90 watt. Just an fyi ... the 1080 (non max q) on my alienware was found to be consistently beating 2080 max q because of it's low tdp

True but your Alienware with 1080 non-MaxQ wasn't 0.83 inches thick and 4.76 lbs, right? With laptops, it's always about compromises.

True it's about compromises. This laptop only has a 60wh battery mine has a 99 wh battery so it's heavier and last's much longer. I'd be very worried about a 60 wh battery in a gaming laptop with 2070 max q.

No need to worry. This laptop's battery life is one of the longest among gaming laptops at 4 hours 54 minutes or 6 hours and 25 minutes when you opt for the 90W battery (+$50 upgrade in options).
