Cowboys v Aliens isnt bad for this price. Also, loved Shocker (Peter Berg) when I was a kid. If you like Chess movies then you have to see Pawn Sacrifice, Liev is a great actor, loved Chuck. Remake of The Hitcher was okay, hard to beat the original with Rutger.

Got some nice oldies for fall and holiday season - Road to Morocco, The Killers, The Blue Dhalia, and Sullivan's Travels.

Never heard of "The Beguiled" with Clint Eastwood, but after watching the trailer it's getting added, looks crazy, lol.

The same Vudu deal last week got a whopping +1 even though it was actually a fairly decent deal. This one has a few good choices, but when it goes FP as compared to last weeks which was basically ignored, what does that say?

I don't see this going frontpage atm. Also, I liked last week's selection more. Problem for me is I want maybe 1 or 2 of the movies. If they combined this week's selection with last week's it would probably be a decent deal.
Called it. If you haven't figured it out, I will say it clearly; many times its not the deal, but who posts it.

There's another example with a digital deal right now, I'll let you find it if you choose. But believe me, numerous people post as good or better digital movie deals and they get ignored. And on the flip side, many of those posted go FP when they have no business doing so ($5 moves that one can easily get for $2). It is what it is but people should know that just because a deal has many thumbs up doesn't necessarily make it good.

I tried to add Trespass (1992, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105636/) four times but it didn't work... so I ended up picking 3 other movies too as consolation laugh out loud

Same ones I picked up! All of those are worthwhile.

I saw Cowboys and Aliens in the theater and i cant remember what it was about. Not a single thing. I don't even remenber the aliens.
It was so bad that it sidetracked Jon Favreau's career for 5 years. He parlayed his Iron Man success into getting Cowboys & Aliens financed, and as punishment he got taken off Iron Man and had to do whatever he was told for 5 years. Hollywood is slow to reward success, and quick to punish failure

Me too!
I've got Frenzy, Sullivan's Travels and Going My Way as three. Debating on several for the 4th. Some being non-MA may make the choice for me.

Sorry, don't agree, it did not do well at the box office, but it was hardly "so bad". I'm not saying it was a great movie, but fun and repeat watchable.

Certainly better than a lot of crap that does well at the box office. The tone was a little uneven and the story could use a little tightening, but come on -- Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in the same movie!

Not a great selection or price in my opinion. I've seen way better titles for less. I can't recommend anything on that list.

Some really bad choices here. This should be a 3 for $10 tops kind of deal.
Perhpas you missed The Killers, Sullivans Travels, Saboteur (and to a lesser extent the Blue Daliah)...either that or you lack knowledge of the history of great cinema.

Criterion titles, Hitchcock and Veronica Lake that is some pretty serious cinema value for $15.
