Great pens and price. Too bad there aren't any fine tips.

Fountain pens use ink cartridges. You can swap in any color you wish and there are different properties. For example, there are document proof versions of ink that are required for certain regulatory settings.

Great deal, looks like.

Now, I don't see this answered - is the color of the pen the color of the ink?

Thanks! I was wondering what color it came with. One of the reviews on Amazon says the red pen comes with blue ink, which is what I was hoping it would.

I haven't used a Safari or an AL-Star but I've only read good things about them. I do have a Lamy 2k that I love.

Like the professor said, the ink choices are endless! I have a bunch of different colors and love swapping out inks to fit my mood 😋

Wow. Can't remember how long it's been since I used a fountain pen. So old school. And today most schools are no longer teaching cursive writing.

Solid deal. I had to crack $35 for the free shipping, but was willing to because of the prices on the pens and some other clearance items.

Used them as a kid back in Germany.
They were extremely popular with the entire High School.
They were about $30 back then too.

Agreed about the fine tip. Lamy seems to draw a thicker line, even the fine is thick, so extra fine is better.

Good pen except the cap is not screw on. It will get loose. I have a few of them (both plastic and Al) but can't use anymore since the cap won't stay on.
