By "training shoes," do they mean a jack-of-all-trades, general-purpose athletic shoe? I thiought they used to call them cross-trainers?

(I am unfamiliar with the terminology of these things. Oddly enough, I'm better-acquainted with more-specialized footwear. But I'm interested nowadays for a general-purpose athletic shoe I can keep in my gym bag that I can use should I decide on a whim to choose between classes or treadmill/aerobic work.)

Don't even both with anything from Reebok.com.

They have cancelled all 3 of my orders over the past month.

Because their bad quality makes it broken maybe just after one game. I bought a pair of running shoe and wear it to a cruise in June. Now the fabric on top of the shoes already broken. They are the worst quality among all those brand shoes I tried before. They cancelled one of my order before for no reason after two weeks of waiting. At the beginning I feel mad but now I think I am lucky.

While I have no recent firsthand experience on the quality of Reebok's individual offerings (my prior experience with what I've had from them has been average)... this is pretty much a case of erroneous expectations and misapplication.

Running shoes (esp. running shoes) are for RUNNING. They are built to be light, and maybe only moderately durable... because running shoes are supposed to be replaced every ~400 miles of usage (because their midsoles pack out), which is less than half a year for even casual runners. Heck, I'm a beginner runner and in a month-and-a-half of running ~12 miles a week, I'm already 1/4 of the way done through one pair of shoes WEARING THEM ONLY EXCLUSIVELY FOR RUNNING SESSIONS.

Because here as I sit at one of the several computers that I use at work, I have my feet crossed, with one foot/shoe resting on top of another (shoe). Or sometimes I tap my toes/shoes. Or sometimes I hold a door open with my foot/shoe. Which is all fine because I'm not using my $150 running shoes with the fancy single-piece double-weave upper (for breathability under high-output conditions and engineered stretch in certain directions), but using any of a number of my all-leather casual shoes... which are built to be stylish and to remain so because leather is there for durability. Or heavier fabrics, which do not need to breathe as well, or have that deliberately-engineered stretch for performance.

I would think that you might have been more satisfied had you simply wore a casual shoe for your cruise.

I don't think I'll be buying from Reebok again. Jumped in on one of the recent slickdeals and waited nearly a month of "delays" only to have my order cancelled.

In my opinion, a company who cares about its customers would either not sell more of a product than it has supply of or at least offer a similar discount on another product for those whose order has been cancelled.

Are these true to size? Or should we go one size up or down?
