Is the vornado worth the greatly increase in price?
I bought a vornado over 10 years ago and it's still going strong. My vornado is a room circulating fan. I put it in one corner of the room on the floor and point it to the opposite corner ceiling . On the low setting I can feel the air moving around which is good for me.
Some folks are using fans directly on them which is fine, but circulating the air in the room is what they are intended for.

I had one of these running three years non stop in the bedroom for air circulation. The day I shut it off it died. If you want to keep it working leave it on! Smilie Works great as white noise too to help you sleep.

Yep. My Vornado's lowest setting is stronger than the Honeybee's highest.

If you can wait for a deal, I bought mine for $30 from Kohls a few months ago. I think normal price was $70.

Pretty good fan, I use it to cool my Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

Had two of these die on me from the last deal.
These things really suck at blowing air.

Didn't read all the comments. Have 2 of these. They work well enough to keep air moving if strategically places. They do get very dusty indeed. After some construction I did the disassemble and clean ritual. It was hard. few parts pop off and can be tossed in the dishwasher. The harder deal is getting all of the awkward nooks created by the webbed plastic. Took me about 2 and a half hours for both fans. Otherwise the engineering seems solid - but I've only had them for about 1 year

I have the HT-800 from 2006 and it is still going strong 13 years later. Guess the HT-900 is not as durable? Wonder what changed.

Only problem I've had with mine is the mechanisms for adjusting the angle of the fan. Every so often I have to remove the round plastic covers on the sides and tighten up the metal screws with a Phillips head screwdriver so the fan stays at the angle I want. Takes less than a minute to do. Mine looks absolutely identical to the one in this deal but the model number is lower by 100.

These are kinda junk. The fan works great, the adjustment system on the sides is the part that breaks for me. I've gone through about 3 of them. They no longer can adjust, and fall blowing upwards.

I bought three of these for the house a few years ago. They were OK for a year, but loud. One was tossed the first year. We kept the second about a year longer, and lived with the incresing noise. The third one would not turn much at all on the low setting, and was slow on the high setting. I suspect bad motor windings or bearings. All three have been junked.

Either way, these are junk, and possibly a fire hazzard. IMO.
any leads on an air compressor deal?

I have this setup with a smart plug and a simple "hey google, turn the fan on" works for me.

I bought 4 of these when they went on clearance for $5 each, and I've never been so disappointed in a purchase. I have now attached all four in my garage right around my washer and dryer, so all four can blow together. That's not what I originally bought them for, but they're not worth hardly the $5 that they were discounted to.

How is it for noise. I've slept with a fan on since I can remember. I like a fan that has a bit of noise.

It will get you by..but I have always used a fan at night .mostly for the noise..I prefer more noise than this little guy .but I use it for hotel stays..not enough noise in my opinion to use every night
