While it sounds like a deal, I caught the last 'deal' from them and it didn't turn out well at all. Keep in mind that it could just be my location (St. Louis), but I ordered online and it took a non busy store 45mins+ after my pickup time for the order (2 pizzas) to be burnt, missing ingredients and with general uncleanliness. I just wanted my money back, yet it was a problem for some reason. It took many calls and 3 weeks to get my money back from this company! I would not suggest going to them. Go to MOD instead!

Worked at 1 in 4 local locations, the furthest so did not use. Still was about $25 for 2 large pizzas for pickup after all was said and done, not too much of a coupon. That being said, I like Blaze in general, their half pizza for $5 during lunch is a decent deal.

Price wise, their $15.95 Large 3 topping is too expensive, considering Dominos and Pizza hut both have it at the everyday price of $7.99...
Better quality ? not by much

I don't agree with much of what you said. MOD Pizza is SUPER skimpy on ingredients, especially online orders, and I've had worse issues with at least 2 of the St. Louis area MOD locations regardling uncleanliness and piss poor customer service.

First off, I would never suggest ordering online from any of these CYO Subway-style pizza places (Pieology, MOD or Blaze). They are going to give you the bare minimum when it comes to toppings. The point of them, considering their pizzas are smaller (10 to 11 inches), is to load up on ingredients... otherwise you might as well go get a Large 3 Topping at Domino's or Pizza Hut for about the same price. The only way you're going to effectively do that is to order in person and not be shy about asking for more of any ingredient you want. It is "unlimited" so go to town. It is their goal to give you the least for your money. It is your goal to get the most for your money. If you can settle for a solid amount of ingredients then you've done your job. Lol

Second, if you need to order online for a specific promo/offer, always do it right as you enter the restaurant and say "oh, that's me" when you see your order pop up...and either watch them closely as they prepare it or say "we can just go through the line and I'll tell you what I want since I'm here." If it's a create your own, pre-paid for online... then they shouldn't care. It's not like you're trying to add 3 ingredients to a pizza when you only paid for 2 online.

In regards to your bad experience, yes, that does happen from time to time (the dark/burnt appearing crust). I've had it happen at all 3 places, but more so at Blaze or Pieology. However, it usually doesn't affect the taste very much. It's typically just a somewhat dirty oven that has had cheese overflow onto the cooking surface and then any pizzas cooking after that will look burnt. Obviously, they should clean the ovens regularly, but if you go during peak times or even after peak times, you might experience this. I don't know why it took so long to get you a refund, but it probably would have just been easier to get them to make you another pizza on the house and go through the line this time.

Lastly, if you haven't already, I'd suggest you try Pieology in SoCo or St. Charles, as it is my favorite of the 3 CYO chains. If you like spicy stuff, their buffalo chicken is on point. They also tend to be more ingredient friendly and if you sign up for their rewards app, you get a BOGO during your bday month + free cheese-bread at sign up.
