Per Anandtech.com review of Crucial P1, as long as drive is not full you are going to see a solid performance for a general purpose compute needs for a typical home use. This may not be an ideal for every use case though.

SD search shows price dropped to $80 at one point for this drive = Crucial P1 1TB, are prices for SSD/NVMe and Memory expected to drop around BF/CM?

I see the $80 price for 1TB drive was part of a bundle purchase with CPU and/or MOBO so I think $~90-96 is probably the lowest, not sure if this will drop further during BF.

some folks prefer the P1 because the write-thru cache is configured slightly larger.
