I made the mistake of buying these before, got 3 of each. I am by no means picky or a snob and appreciate 'budget' items. These towels are beyond budget and more like glorified sandpaper.

Walmart has "better home and garden" (or it might have been Mainstays) towels that go for around 2.50 and 5.00 for washcloth and hand towel respectively, that are leaps and bounds softer and more plush than these towels from Macy's.

edit: JCP must be paying good money because this has been near the top of frontpage for going on 3 days it seems! wow

Just for another perspective I got them last time and really like them.

I like how thin they are as I find it makes them more malleable to dry you better in all the spaces.

They also dry quicker because of this.

They feel fine to me but I'm not picky on stuff like this.

I'm gonna buy more.

Only 3.3/5 stars from 324 reviews on their site. Seems like common complaints are about them being too thin and not very absorbent. Tempted to stock up for the 2nd bathroom but I think I will pass.

These are very thin, got the hand towel last time and returned them immediately after feeling them.

Reviews on the Macy's site are pretty bad.

These towels are pretty excellent for the price imho. I had purchased Lacoste towels and honestly they were trash. Lint coming off all the time and end up holding bacteria. Smell and all that would not come out no matter how many washes and different formulas used. These may not be super fluffy but def absorbent enough and easy to wash. Would recommend

I bought them And use them as floor towels they're so thin. You can get much better towels (e.g. Hotel Collection) for a dollar or two more if you wait for future sales.
