Always a TN panel. It's good for beginners but I've seen IPS in action and it's hard to go back.

Seems like really positive reviews and then just flat out bad experiences with reliability .. considering it but not sure of the longevity..

Bought one myself, but just want to point out the description says this has HDR, but it's only 350nits and no local dimming zones, so if anyone is grabbing this expecting an amazing HDR experience, that would be a mistake.

Let me guess you want HDR10,1000 nits of brightness, too.
That sounds nice.

My qnix monitor I brought in 2013 is amazingly still going strong too. But I would probably be in trouble if my HD 7950 dies one day (which is still going strong too). Do newer GPUs nowadays even have dvi ports?

What I like about the Qnix is because it doesn't really have a "OSD" it turns on and off super quick. My Samsung monitor with a OSD takes way longer to turn on.
Many newer GPU's do have dvi I think all of the ten series have at least one. Maybe even the 1080 ti

Easily the price best I've seen with these specs (note it's a TN panel). Would love to hear if anyone has ever used this brand or dealt with a warranty claim.
The monitor aside, your username is misleading in regard to the picture.

I changed it when Emery took over. I'll probably change it back. Wenger In.

i would consider this this but my qnix 2710 is still going strong. i am not a fan of TN panels. the AH-VA is nice on my qnix and it is overclocked to 100hz. too hard to let go even tho it is so old.
Just retired my Qnix 2710 for a 1440P 165hz IPS. Great value.

I bought the Newsync with similar specs, but IPS panel for $265 on Amazon with no tax a while ago.
$65 more for IPS is well worth in my opinion.
Working great so far, and Gsync works fine with my GTX 2080.

If you want this resolution and VA @ 32", go with the $180 Dell:
