Why? 6 cores 12 threads vs 8 cores 8 threads for the newer.
You have much better AMD options for this price or less that will also perform better. That beings said, this is a solid price for a 1080 ti system.

This comment is delusional, you're promoting a product that has no quality control and is commonly known to show up with issues.

Yes lets have some common sense, with your mentality we might as well cut all quality control, lets shut down the FDA, Poison Control Center, and even Cell Phone quality control since people used to love their Note7s catching fire. At least that way we will get the best price on everything. People want deals, no one is arguing that. However, this is not an inexpensive purchase, and those buying it are typically casual gamers with no understanding of how a pc is built. At least respect the casual consumers and call out the issues rather than saying "you can't beat this price". Price means nothing if your product is faulty.
Faulty, and QA are 2 different things.

The PSU was found to be made by a well known reliable OEM supplier.
Great wall is a well known manufacturer? 🤔

Considering all thee of my builds have cost about $1000 and have only been 4 core computers (Q6600, i5-4670k and i5-6600k) with at most $300 graphics cards, 16GB ram and a 128GB or 250GB SSD with a 1TB data drive this is a darn good price.
Those were all good processors for their times, my dude. I wanted a 6600k so bad. But times have changed, 4 core 8 thread CPUs can be had for $130. 8/16 Core Ryzen 2700x is selling for $169 right now.

No, but apparently some Overpowered* machines came with a Thermaltake PSU.

For what it's worth the reviews on Walmart are bad.

The following deal from a month ago was a Frontpage deal with 38 likes: https://slickdeals.net/f/13355620-abs-gaming-desktop-rx-5700-xt-ryzen-5-3600-16gb-512gb-ssd-win-10-999-99?src=SiteSearch

Yet, it had a weaker CPU, 16gb Ram, and a weaker GPU, all for $1,017.

Isn't this Overpowered deal a lot better than the one above?

My mother is still using the 6600k PC right now and it's still chugging at 3Ghz with no voltage increase. I need to upgrade it to Windows 10 soon.

I saw the 6 core intel for $130 and was really tempted to build another machine. I don't really need a new computer right now. I am glad to see amd giving intel competition since that will be good for us.

They are a well know OEM (technically ODM). E.g. lots of Corsair PSUs are made by Great Wall.

This or AMD 2700 8 core/16 thread? The CPU benchmark of 2 are same.

Recently, bought Amazon desktop AMD 2700 deal for $580. Had to return
it because hardware issue. Think intel is better for hardware compatibility.
