How about I answer you.

To be fair to redpocket when you first signed in with your freedompop email to select the plan it said 200mb . You probably then got all excited when the next order page said 500mb. Most people who then ordered found out that they were only given 200mb and promptly complained to redpocket who honored the 500mb for the month. Most thought it would be forever but redpocket changed it back to 200mb for the next month.

So I get you are pissed that you didn't get 500mb but when you first clicked on the plan it said 200mb. So there was clearly a price mistake somewhere and you took the chance you'd get 500mb. Since it was a mistake they are entitled to change it back to what it should have been.

Yes there was some confusion. You may be mad if a CS agent specifically said you would get 500mb each month but I don't know if that was the case or not. But either way you probably knew all along there was a mistake and was hoping to take advantage of that as any slickdealer would do but now that it has been adjusted back all is fair in the deal game.

I don't know if that is sarcasm. To clarify, this is for 1 year of service. Definitely not expensive!

I guess but if there was a mistake at all personally I would have talked to support to get a confirmation before proceeding. Saves disappointment later

I'm just playing devil's advocate here. It was bad but it wasn't something that was maliciously done to fool you in my opinion. They just messed up and then corrected the mistake. I am sure they would have given you a refund if you didn't get what you thought you paid for and what they said you paid for. You can't rule out the possibility that they backtracked the deal and it was meant to be 500mb but they changed their minds. But I am okay giving them the benefit of doubt since it did say 200mb in at least one or two places. You may not agree but nothing you can do about it.

I'm on red pocket Verizon I'm guessing this is new activations only and I can't move my number over?

Even better than their 5$/month plan that's like 100minutes/texts and 500mb if I'm remembering correctly. I usually do their 29$ for 3 months plan for the extra 400 minutes/texts. I never even use my minutes, so I'd so go for it if I had a sprint phone...just add an extra 2-5$ worth of data add-on when needed.

Between POWERTEN and $2 in Bucks, I've got it down to $25. That's still pretty expensive for the Sprint network, though.

This sounds great for someone just needing a lighter plan. I'm waiting for unlimited plans like last year on gsm. Can you still add those annual deals you find on ebay to renew an existing account, or have they locked that down to new customers only?

Yeah, I'm just being snarky Peace

Sprint near me is pretty bad, so I wouldn't depend on their network for my "real" phone. Maybe as a house phone or something, but I currently just use WiFi calling, so even then $2 and some change each month is probably a waste.

Remember the Red Pocket "freedompop" plan is $3/month but comes with 500MB of data.

3 months you should be OK. Red Pocket GSM used to be that you had 1 year to activate. But they reduced that at some point. So I'm assuming that this is the same as that.
