Seems like a good deal and hardware but Lenovo has bugs in the bios and with some drivers it seems so if I bought one I would do fresh clean windows reinstall (not preloaded version). The warranty would be 2yrs because it's Costco plus if paid with their card it should be extended to 4yrs.

this looked like an amazing deal, but scared of pulling the trigger in regards to some of the bad reviews.

Will be traveling internationally and cannot have it fail.

I think we need to make a pact that we don't buy these if they're all bad and buggy and failing.
Companies should not be ethically allowed to unload product on folks that is faulty.

My wife has last years version of this laptop. For the most part it is solid and performs well. The screen is a bit dim, but from what I've read it is good compared to other computers at this price point. The fan noise is loud, so if you are sensitive to that kind of thing beware.

We had to have one thing repaired. The power button broke because it is on the side of the computer and sticks out, and she put it in her backpack power button down so that the power button was compressed for hours. Lenovo fixed it free of charge in 2 weeks through Best Buy, pretty minimal hassle.

doesnt seem like a big deal but in terms of portability, it does help a lot over time.

I've had good luck with my flex 14. Even upgraded the ram to 16gb and everything's been smooth without a hitch. Looking at a 1tb upgraded in the near future
