I think I'm going to wait until the 8 or 10 percent off from eBay for this month or black friday and then buy one. Thanks OP for your post, Rep'd.
apologies if I misunderstand your thinking, but, OP presented a deal for 35% discount... But you're waiting for an 8 - 10% discount, instead?

If you're thinking that you should wait ((b/c you believe this price is going to remain and you'll be able to tack an additional 10% discount on top of that in the future,)) then I'd give you a friendly fyi that that would not be an advisable plan

This sub-40 price comes up only every so often; might be good to jump in now Smilie

Sales tax on gift cards. How is that allowed ebay?
It's technically not a gift card. It's a voucher for a service at best.

Nevermind, Samsung Pay has 12% cashback on ebay.com. edit - only 6% for me. edit 2 - had to swipe right for the 12% cashback from ebay offer to show up.

This is correct. Amazon charges tax as well.

They usually jack-up the price when Ebay starts those promos.

Does anyone know if these are still going to be good and compatible with the new playstation 5 that's going to come out? I want to load up but will be a waste of money of the new playstation 5 comes out with it's own ps+ membership.

I mean... PS3 and PS4 share the same subscription. PS5 to follow? No info yet as far as I know, but that would be quite the fark up if they somehow made it different. Like a tiered kind of subscription? The gaming industry is quite greedy nowadays.

It's $59.99 on PSN & Bestbuy.com, and those are both digital. This is for a physical item, and ebay charges tax on everything sold on ebay now for most people.

The PS5 will use the same services provided by the current iteration of PS+. It is independent of the OS or hardware. As long as the game is compatible with the gaming system, PS+ will provide the online/multiplayer aspect.

Picked one up. What's the Black Friday price been the last few years- $40? Mines up next month anyway.

Sales tax are charged in accordance with state & local laws which vary determined by ship to location. If there is no ship to location as in a digital transaction those requirements change. This is a physical card with a ship to location. By tax law, it's not the same purchase. If a seller has a physical location in the state in which a customer receives goods, state taxes are paid as if the sale is made at that physical location.
