Can't find anything saying that this is the Max-Q design. If it is the legit GTX 1650 mobile then this is a solid deal.

My research indicates it's not a Max Q, but I can't actually confirm that until I get the laptop.

The obvious downside with that is that the laptop is a bit large and heavier than some competing units with otherwise similar specs, so you're gaining some graphics performance at the expense of portability, but reviews seem to indicate very good battery life from this model as well, so it was a good trade-off for me personally.

That and I had a bunch of Dell rewards and gift cards to burn, so it was the right unit at the right time for me. I didn't have the option to wait to see how BF was going to shape up.

It looks a bit odd, kinda like it's stuck between 2005 and 2019 design wise.

There is no 1650Ti but this 1650 (non-Max-Q) is quite a bit faster than the 1050 and a bit better than the 1050Ti.

Still "worse" than the 1660Ti Max-Q but they're not in the same league since the 1660Ti has 6GB and this having 4GB. Most 1660Ti laptops are $1-300 more as well.
