Alan Wake's American Nightmare

In this brand new standalone experience, Alan Wake fights the herald of darkness, the evil Mr. Scratch! At least Epic Games doesn't have to needlessly update on Every. Single. Boot.

What I really like about Epic store is that so far I haven't spent a single penny and I feel I have games on it to play for a whole decade...

Nice!! Ive been waiting for Observer to go on sale. Big fan of Bloober team. Not a huge fan of Epic, but they sure have been giving away some nice games. Competition is always good. Remember the old days of Steam sales when they actually had killer sale deals. Maybe this will force them to bring that back.

Deal not available until 10/17 (one more week). I would venture to say you posted this too soon? Thanks though, these Epic freebies are really great.

I understand you can avoid this if you close Steam before you reboot. Why they made it this way though, I have no idea.

Haha. I LOL'd at this one. Yes, this is also a pet peeve of mine. I get no HL3, but every week I have a Steam update. For a product....that launches games. I'm old enough to remember when games launched from a 5 line batch file, and now this nonsense.

Pass. Never understood the concept of installing needless bloat to play a game.
How is having your library of games in one place, needless bloat?
