The Hyper Tough 20VMax Cordless 10-Inch Self-Lubricating Chainsaw is for when you want to just grab your chainsaw and go. Not a lot of setup and even less maintenance once you get cutting. With a self-lubricating Chain Oiler and tool-less chain tensioning system you get more done in way less time. Bucking Spikes give you leverage on the log when you need to power through—although with a chain that's always tight and always oiled, you won't need the leverage you're used to. Ergonomic form factor gives you comfort and control, and at only 7 lbs. it'll reduce fatigue, so you can cut all day long. If you're still using a corded saw or still mixing oil and gas this Hyper Tough Chainsaw will be a liberating sawing experience. Part of the HT Charge 20VMax family of tools, so you can use the rechargeable 20VMax 2.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery that comes with this saw on any other Hyper Tough 20V tool. Comes with a charger and a Blade Sheath.
  • Automatic chain lubrication so you never have to worry about a dry chain
  • Tool-less chain tensioning so you don't need to stop and run back to the shop
  • The same rechargeable battery that charges the Hyper Tough Chainsaw charges any other tool in the HT Charge 20VMax Family
  • No more having to mix oil and gas
  • Ergonomic form factor designed to give you control all the way through

I guess you have never seen a commercial for a pick-up truck.

It looks to be fairly similar to the BD 1020, so there's probably a decent probability. Im neither expecting this to be hyper nor tough, but I'm in for one anyway.

Certainly looks like it, though I can't say for sure. Not a bad deal if that is in fact the case.

Hoping someone with one can comment on this. I'm invested in the Porter Cable line and am always looking for cross-compatibility to expand my lineup.

Form what I can tell, and others seem to agree, most of the Hyper Tough Power Tools are made by Chervon, which is the parent (brand owners) company of Skil, they make some of the (Sears) Craftsman, and I belive they made Lowe's Kobalt Power Tools (which are dieing a slow death to be replaced with Craftsman from StanleyBlackandDecker.

I Think this is compatible with Black & Decker. Will find out Monday (day of delivery). Reviews on this saw look pretty good and with the included battery, you're looking at around $25 for the saw - great deal! Thumbs Up OP!

Bought this for $40 a couple months back at my local Walmart. They also have the 40v (two 20v batteries) for $70/$80. I don't recall exactly.

Put in bar oil and ripped through pallets and random branches. Perfect for cutting through pallets and branches for the bonfire at night without pissing off neighbors.

I'd buy it again for $40 and expect it to last a while.

Grabbed 2 at $20 each. Hoping to make a few bucks to cover the 18" Greenworks chainsaw w/80v battery that I got from AWD earlier.
The store I got it from also had the 40v 16" Greenworks 40v Chainsaw with 1 battery for $50 which I also picked up.
How'd you get 2 for $20?

You know a brand is bad when they have to put how "good" or how "strong" their products are in its name. What's gonna happen is you use it a few time and stop using it cause it sucks or dangerous. Imagine a restaurant with the name...really good Chinese food, really safe amusement park, hyper tough tools
