Don't see this as only being useful for refrigerator monitoring. Looks to be a cheap, 2 wireless thermometer, indoor/outdoor system.
There is nothing that limits this thermometer to being just a fridge monitor other than you can set an alarm for a temp.

I just junked mine and replaced it with a GE.
I took off the panel and saw only half the evaporator coils had frost on them. Less than 10 years and its loosing refrigerant.
Check your evaporator fan to make sure its blowing air across the coils if not getting cold and the defrost heating element if freezing over.

Is the drain tube freezing up? If that's the issue you just need to get some copper wire and wrap it around the defrost heating element and route it down the drain. Haven't had the problem since.

Check the drain tube to see if it is plugged with debris. Search YouTube on this issue. My old drain tube had a self close slit which easily plugged up with gunk overtime. The replacement tube for my specific make and model is like a S shape kitchen sink drain with the exact size and length for the drain connector. It was pia to get to the drain tube behind the frig and you have to defrost the accumulated ice with a hair dryer, which required removing the front lower freezer basket and back panel. Did that 2 years ago and have not had any problem since, fingers crossed Smilie

My fridge just stopped cooling a few days ago. This will be useful once I have a working fridge again.
