since when $2000+ is a good deal?

i bought the exact same laptop minus the 4K screen for $980. the 4K screen definitely isn't worth $1000+

It doesn't exist. There's not one laptop with a 120hz OLED display, and only a few stand alone 120hz OLED monitors.
