Pro tip...fill the tub at least halfway with water BEFORE caulking. That will give you a better seal as the tub flexes slightly when there's water/people in it, which consequently opens the gap between the tub and the tile. Not doing this will tend to stretch out the caulk when you put weight in the tub later, causing it to fail more quickly

Just be aware caulk expires... not sure about this stuff but I recently learned the hard way the ge silicon stuff does in around 1 year, where it will never harden and is a major PITA to clean. I wouldn't buy unless you have a project in the very near future since can't check the dates online.

I've never had good luck with Dap. In my house Dap is crap, I go with GE silicon. A little more expensive at Walmart but you get what you pay for.

I was going to add the Lowe's links to the OP, but the only one I found on sale is the Gray Dynaflex 230 (not available for shipping or at the 10 Lowe's near me). The rest are much more expensive or I was not able to find them on the site.

I would not use anything other than 100% silicone for a tub. Either GE or Gorilla. The preparation can be a PITA and you don't want to have to repeat the process due to poor quality caulk.
