These are regularly on the Drop (Massdrop) site for $180. They popped up on their clearance sale site. Text says offer is expired but my transaction went through. YMMV.

These are similar (most say: sounds the same, better build quality) than the HE400i's that are $200+

Some other great deals on the warehouse site too.

That's a fake/scam site.

These are awesome headphones; I purchased them during the first drop for $170. Excellent price and an inexpensive way to get into planars. Bear in mind that these are completely open, so you'll hear everything outside, and everyone will be able to hear your music.

Sure. And a 1979 Chevette is all the car anyone should need.

Massdrop ( I refuse to just call them Drop) is having what they call a Warehouse Sale. This appears to be some items that may have worn out their welcome on their shelves, so they are clearing inventory. Great deal on the HE4XX, so now is the time to snag a pair of you have been on the fence or considering a quality pair of open-back cans.

Heck yes! I've seriously been wanting to buy these but waiting to see if I could get a coupon. In this case my patience paid off. Thanks OP!

In for one, may be interesting in switching to these from my HD6XX.

I have the original HE-400s. Love the sound. Has anyone ever compared the two?

I have had the he400s twice, they are astonishingly good, I kind of doubt these would be up to par.

I wanted to buy but so many negative reviews. I think I will keep my X2.
