Costco is $419. See below. Bestbuy will match the price. You just need to show them your checkout to prove that you could buy it there. IMO, I'd still go to costco. Better return policy. Better warranty. Squaretrade warranty for $50, I think.

I have this exact same set. I purchased it in January. Great TV. Dolby Vision, wide color gamut, Roku Interface, plenty of inputs. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. If I needed a TV in my bedroom, I'd purchase this again.

EDIT:

Costco has the voice remote. So, I'd for sure go with the costco version. Having the regular remote, I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker, but it would certainly be nice.

One think I should mention, which I think is kind of assumed (but in the event it isn't) - the audio from the TV speakers is terrible. Granted, it gets pretty loud, but it doesn't sound that good. That goes for essentially all flat screens. I have mine hooked up to a sound bar and wireless sub. Unless you use a universal remote, the TV remote will not control the audio on the surround sound/sound bar. You will need to use that device's remote to control the audio and disable the audio output from the TV.

Figured since the 6 series TCL'S are EVERYWHERE, might as well include this:

If you want to spend a little more and get the 2019 QLED, Rakuten has it for $509, https://www.rakuten.com/shop/elec...ct/55R625/

I have a refurb of this model. It performs well but has vertical banding.

This is a known qc issue with this set, which is why I'd definitely only buy this model new. Many refurbs are likely returns people made due to issues like you mention.

Without these issues this is a fantastic tv and by far the best value for the price, especially given the fact the the interface is so good you dont need any additional streaming device.

I'm pretty sure they won't price match because the model numbers are different. The R615 is exclusive to Best Buy...where Costco sells the R613, which I believe is the "warehouse" version.

This is still a good deal if you need a TV right now. But with Black Friday around the corner, I'm personally holding out for a deal on the H9F or R625.

I went back to edit my response. Costco version has the voice remote. Previously, they were able to match it with the 5 series. They just looked at the headlight "55 TCL 5 series" and saw the price and were like, "okay, yeah, we'll match that", and didn't look at specific model numbers. If they match the model numbers, then I'm sure you're right. Perhaps I got lucky. I got the 5 series in December, but then half the panel's backlight didn't work, so I returned it for the 6 series. But either way, I'd opt for Costco version.

I have this TV and it is amazing! Even despite some minor vertical banding, almost unnoticeable unless really looking for it. Primarily use for gaming, so sport fans may notice it more? Everyone that sees the TV when it's on can't help but complement how vibrant the colors are, inky the blacks are, and how sharp the picture is. It really is a no brainer buy for a tv of this quality at this price.
Note that I am OCD about things and will pick out the most minute flaws in anything, but honestly can't really say anything terrible about it. (Maybe I won the "lottery panel", but I was prepared to bring my first one back due the horror stories people made it out to be. I kept it though, because nobody notices it enough to make a fuss and it is an overall amazing experience)

2018 model just for anyone looking. Still a really good budget TVs, but the 2019 model with QLED just released. The 2019 may not stay at MSRP for long, and this one may go even lower. No guarantees though
