This seems like a nice deal and my family ordered two of them. But then I went over to Amazon and read reviews, which were generally very poor (3 out of 5 stars, mostly due to very poor quality and durability). Hopefully its weaknesses are worked out during refurbishment but who knows? Fingers crossed! $70 for $300 headphones seems pretty sweet.

Description says: "WARNING : Cancer and Reproductive Harm - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov."

What's up with this warning suddenly appearing on so many products? Does it mean you actually have a chance of getting cancer from using the product as intended, or must you eat the product in order to realistically be in danger?

California requires it on next to everything in order to sell there

I had a set of these for about a year and absolutely loved them until they started making a loud crackling noise on the left side. I was sent a refurbished pair under warranty and within two months they would not stay connected wirelessly for more than 10 minutes on any device I tried and after a hard reset.

They do work wired as well and I constantly use them with my PS4.

It looks like they have the same 1 year warranty so I'd consider these again only because they were super comfortable and I like the noise cancelling but I'd never by them at full price.

Bought them last month, same price. Sound quality is good. They just stick out more on the sides but they're very comfortable. It blocks noise well, not as good as Bose though. It has high, low and off function for outside noise which Bise doesn't. If on high, basically no noise cancelling, at low you can still hear everyone just not as loud. I tested it with my AC unit if Bose gets 100% then I'd give these 85% for canceling noise which is enough for me as I can't stand loud airplane engine noise and my primary reason was that alone. I ended canceling my Bose order cause I think for me these are enough. These should block just enough so it doesn't drive mencezy. Sound quality I'd say is BETTER than Bose. Again, these cost $70, not $250. They're also very comfy but charge with micro sd cable. Mine came without retail box but they looked untouched. Return if you don't like them with free returns. What do you have to lose. I'd definitely recommend.

edit: when sides open they do make clicking sound as if they're gonna break but with 1 year warranty I should be good and I have them on a stand so I don't fold them that often unless traveling.

California Air and Resource Board dictates on their own suggestion that their research shows a massive list of chemicals and substances that have "been known to cause cancer". Anything incorporating those has to print a Prop 65 (proposition 65 being their reasons and findings) label as a warning to California citizens. Otherwise they cant sell there

Many companies started putting these on also if they did not want to evaluate what chemicals the product could have, to protect them from potentially getting sued in the future. For most of these plastic products it seems the chemicals that are most frequently listed to trigger these warnings are BPA and DEHP for products with plastic, and for some electronics also lead. A revision to law requires companies now to list the chemical. I've unfortunately just gotten used to it after living in CA for awhile.

Sound quality and cancellation are decent. They have free returns so no harm in ordering and giving them a try. I bought these last month but returned them. Compared to bose qc25, noise cancellation was not nearly as good but music quality a little bit better and these are Bluetooth and also can adjust eq. Compared to Sony h900n, noise cancellation I felt was not as good and sound quality also not as good—a little muddy evens when I adjusted eq. I stuck with the Sony, which were refurbished and I got for similar price off eBay w/ a coupon. Overall I'd say these are solid for the price, and again with free returns def worth checking out.
