I tried to do a little research on the company (GXi Outdoor Power) and, personally, would be leary of their products. Best I can tell the Beast mowers are built somewhere in Asia, but I couldn't find anything definitive. They may be the greatest mower ever, but if I wouldn't fork over that kind of cash to an unproven company. A warranty is only as good as the company behind it.

My last 60" commercial mower I got about 5 years ago, it was $14k

This is not true commercial, with a welded deck. Probably can't go wrong at this price for a homeowner, but if you do lawncare for a living, I would highly recommend buying a used true commercial unit over this.

Only 24 mos. warranty, so commercial quality it ain't. Still, a good price for what it is, but B&S engine (unless a Vanguard) is not the preferred. Repped.

Spend the extra $ and get a professional mower like a Scag, Ex-Mark or Ferris. Well worth the money in the long run and better motors in them than a Briggs.
