Great concept - Free physical key backup via mobile app

Many of us may have been in lockout situation and end up spending 50-100 dollars to unlock our car / home but this app can make it easier

Granted that you will end up spending to generate the key but that is only if you need it else it is a free backup of any physical key ( home, car, locket.)

I found it useful and hope others can benefit it.

p.s. I have not yet used it but the concept is great.

Until they get hacked and now crooks can rob your house and steal your car, in addition to just stealing credit card info now.

I think I'll stick with Home Depot, and stash a copy with the neighbors.

This seems like a solution looking for a problem.

Holy cow this is a bad idea. I thought storing credit cards and bank information with third-parties was a bad idea, but this takes the cake.

It is interesting from a technology point of view and it does make sense in private scenarios like companies with a lot of locks, etc. But to make it so the public uploads their keys so that way a single master database of all the keys exists? What new world order regime is this idea coming from?

It's amazing the amount of privacy people are willing to give up for convenience.
