I placed a few Sears orders about a month ago when all those FP tool deals were posted.
My orders are all stuck on 'Processing for In-Store pickup' for about 3 weeks now and the clerks are clueless about finding them or re-ordering them.

I ordered the planer and miter saw base posted recently. Both were delayed a few days, but pickup at my store was fine once they came in. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from buying from them, but don't have Amazon-esque expectations... there's a reason Sears is on its last legs. Thanks OP, helpful for basement drywall project I have coming up.

Idk, it seems like this would add little benefit v.s. a normal square, yet have increased chances of getting it's angle thrown off over time via the weakness the slide feature would inevitably cause

Saw these in store last week at this price, they looked pretty impressive especially for 14 bucks. Unfortunately don't have the money to drop on things like this but it looked nice.

How would measuring sheetrock have different measuring techniques v.s. other materials making this a better option though?

I've got a shed to drywall so this should come in handy. I had $10 in freecash so it came out to $10 shipped to my door. Used PayPal and my Chase Freedom to also get 5x UR points.

for some reason it's only available for pick up at a store 30 miles away, even though I have 2 sears stores within 5 miles of me...

I got one. Work pretty good. Well made,in China, but still. it's probably user error but the knob got loose a few times and accidentally nicked me when the square open unexpectedly.
