PSA: Cinemark Theaters No Longer Have Discounted Tuesday Tickets on Atom and Fandango

I'm leaving this thread here for others who search the forums for answers. You're not going crazy, you won't find discounted (often times) $5 Tuesday tickets on Fandango or Atom tickets anymore for Cinemark theaters. In order to get the discounted price you must use Cinemark's app or buy them at your local movie theater. Cinemark charges their own "convenience fee" on their app/website.

Atom tickets got rid of Regal theaters and instead added Cinemark theaters in their place.

Thanks for info. I rarely go to Cinemark. Regal & AMC are cloesest to me.

Looks like AMC still offers the discount Tuesday ticket via Atom Tickets & Fandango.

Also, Regal loaded a free movie ticket to see Gemini Man on my Regal Crown Club. YMMV.

Cinemark blows. Pretty much every change they've made over the last two years has been to take something away. They used to waive convenience fees if you used a gift card; ended that too. There's virtually no way to buy their tickets without dropping at least a couple bucks in "convenience fees."

Ya they sent an email out 2 weeks ago about the change for discount Tuesday is only with one of their memberships now.

They also nolonger allow you to exchange fandango or atom tickets at the theater.

They tell you to contact them and won't budge.

I got the same free ticket loaded, but turns out it's good for any movie. We used it on Joker.

You just need to sign up for Cinemark Rewards. $8.99 a month. You get a free movie ticket and 20% off concessions. It's worth it if you are like me and go to the movies often. The movies with the rewards program are $5 on Tuesdays and no convenience fees. I still sneak in my own consessions so the discount doesn't do anything for me but it beats spending the money on convenience fees. If you dont use your ticket in that month it rolls over.

(from their website: Cinemark Movie Rewards Members save even more on Tuesdays.)

Wonder what this means for AT&T 2 ticket Tuesdays which moved to Fandango for ticket purchase.

Cinemark's regular price is $4.5 without any deals or app, just walk in! Only on weekend, they charge 7.5 or 10

the convenience fees are ridiculous. They should pay us to make it easier on their ticket office.

Even better. Thanks for the heads up. It was a nice surprise to see that email.

Since Cinemark is the best thing we have going near us and go a lot on Tuesday I checked it out and sure enough on the website the $5 Tuesday deal is gone at the box office but it's still there on the App. Looks like we'll be buying through the App now.
