you can easily build one at < 1/2 the price.

find an ngff to pci-e converter (goes for < 10 on ebay)
and then find a 867mbps ac card (also goes for < 10 on ebay)

I've been looking for a PCIe Wifi card. Can you point to a reliable AC speed card on ebay tat doesn't require assembly? (I'm not sure how plugNplay your combo above is..)

that could work, but the card in the picture is definitely not an intel 9260. (the form factor is not ngff)

Honestly just get the converter and get a 802.11ax ngw card from china for $13. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133132918517 Can't beat the combo and you're future proof for a few years. This is what I updated my inbuilt 802.11ac card with and it actually speed up my transfer rate interestingly.

Thanks for your suggestion. Would this one be ok? Price is $26 shipped locally. No fooling with long Chinese shipping and fiddling with adapters...

Looks legit to me and should cost the same as buying them seperately. I used the converters since I converted to minipci rather than pcie. Just make sure to install these drivers direct from intel before swapping cards out: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/...uct=189347
