You should get a Rack mount UPS, this is little more than a glorified surge protector

Those interested in an alternative, check out Furman power conditioners. The PST-6 is pretty cheap on Amazon and great quality. Solved a noise issue in my home theater setup.

Different purpose, UPS is not going to provide a clean and isolated power for a high end sound system..

I just added a deal alert today on Panamax.....is this the lowest we have seen or should I wait for Black Friday?
I searched SD and found that there was $150 deal for this from Amazon back in 2017 which went OOS almost immediately. I have not seen it this low for a while.
Never even heard of this but it sounds something good to have when I start building a Ubiquiti rack with switch, router, nas, etc.. Does anyone know if it's rack compatible?

"Rack ears included" so, yeah, it would be rack compatible.

What type of equipment / scenario warrants this hardware?
Home theater. If you're dropping $2000+ on a preamps and $texas on amps, throw in a dash of spicy projector and baby you got an expensive soup. You want as clean and protected power to these as possible.

I have all of my expensive home theatre e equipments on a regular surge protector, except for one front channel speaker directly connected to a wall outlet.. guess what, that of only one that failed in 5 years... definitely going to upgrade to this, and have all of them connect to this baby
