Decent deal if you find the AT&T sim and refill useful.

Or you could get just the phone for $152.99 - or phone + speaker mod at $169.99 as per the other SD deal through the Motorola store.

Shame cricket is not included in the $50 off any longer, those cards are easier to resale.

Can I use the $50 at&t prepaid card independent of the phone?

Meaning, I want to buy the phone to gift to someone else (who is not on at&t), but want to use the card for myself. Maybe too trivial a value difference vs. the $153 z3p on the moto site directly.

I don't see why not, it looks like they just throw in the regular $50 prepaid card and sim card pack with the phone.

^Thank you, I'd imagine so.

Forgot about the other variable, would have to pause my regular payment method to use the $50 card, where I'd lose two months of the autopay discount (they are sticklers about this). Cuts the net $27 savings to $17 (for me).

I'm in a multi-line group, how would I go about using the refill card?

I haven't tried this but if you click on 'Make a Payment' from menu it gives you an option to use prepaid card, the second option that says this:
AT&T PREPAID Refill Card

Enter the refill card PIN. The total value will be applied to your account.

That should do it. with that said, be mindful of when you add the card. Sometimes timing is key, so you might want to add it towards the end of your billing cycle.

What happens if you ship the phone, but don't pick up the card?

Maybe I should wait for BF for the $49 VZW deal to return ($69 with Sprint ,but I'm not sure about their cancel policy)

I don't know that exactly but it looks like they figured out the buy the phone return the cards; I did something similar and they changed the charge to the undiscounted price where in the past they had refunded the price of the cards. The $50 card was also labelled "unreturnable" in the online receipt after I cancelled the sim.

Were you use able to use the $50 refill amount without disrupting the auto pay?

The phone is $20 cheaper than the price mentioned in this thread few weeks back. Just need to know how ATT refill fares.
