Although our set was purchased at Costco vs Kohls, I'll assume the make/quality is the same. We own probably 30 pieces of OXO storage containers going on 10 years now and not a single one has an issue. Maybe you got a bad batch? Regardless, just reach out to OXO and they will replace it for free as these have a lifetime warranty from manufacture defects.

Talk about an inflated starting price. MSRP is $49.

The camel does say this net price is the lowest you could ever get it for though.

Kohl's loves to inflate prices but OXO containers are not that common to find at this price. I believe this set is $60 at Costco and even at TJMaxx, they are more expensive than this price.

I bought this set a couple years ago. Out of the 10 piece set, I think two bottom pieces have cracked and the "button" function on one of the lids stopped working, so 3 out of 10 pieces have broken, and we are not rough on these at all. They look nice, but not incredible quality.

The Costco set has 12 containers for around $60 in store. If you need that many, that's still probably a better deal.

I have a 10 or so set. Have had them for almost 6 months. No cracks or broken tops. The cracked bottoms is suspect. You may not be rough on them but how do you crack plastic like this except by banging it around / dropping it?

What do you use these for? I've owned them for years but just take up space in storage because i dont know what to fill the small ones with.

For the smaller ones I use those for nuts, spices, and sugar/sweetener that I can reach easily rather than schlepping out a huge heavy container every morning.

Thanks OP for the heads up/! Great deal as they don't go on sale often and didn't need the larger set at Coscto. Have had my few pieces for years never an issue with the, as well as other OXO products I own. May question Kohl's reg & sale price , but still 49.99 on Oxo's web site, so this sale price is still a good deal, as I found quality to be good and always wait for sales to get their products as they tend to be pricey.
