A few Lego Harry Potter sets dropped on Amazon over night

Hagrid's Hut - $48 (previous low was $53.99)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q1K195S

Expectro Patronum - $16 (previous low was $19.96)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2MWZ97

Knight Bus - $32 (previous low was $35.88)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2WRZ4T

Not super low but definitely the lowest I've seen

Hagrid's hut is the same price at costco in-store, if you're a member. 👍🏻

Some of the others 2019 sets seem to be slightly discounted too. Not bad if you really want them now.

Are Harry Potter Legos usually overpriced? Because this isn't that great of a deal based on a per piece price compared to other sets.

Two sets I really want, but the MSRP was terrible to begin with.

I don't think the per piece price is that far off from say, Star Wars or other licensed sets. There are fewer sets overall though so I don't think you see deep discounts as often— at least not since I've been paying attention anyway.

Aside from Aragog most of the past few deals have been Fantastic Beasts sets that were tied to the recent movie.

Costco has it for $48.99 so a dollar more.

This is a good price only if want it now, the $20 sets are a good price at 20% but Hagrids and the bus are a little overprice and a deal is more like 30%+ on those. Cool sets though.

Lego has started setting the MSRP higher to allow more discounts from their retail partners. 20% off current sets isn't the deal it used to be. The best, IMO, YouTube Lego reviewer JangBricks has mentioned this on most of his recent videos.
