Great deal! Does this really comes with 3 years warranty? Most Refurb only carry 1 year warranty. Same price at Accessories4less.com but they only have 1 year warranty.

I bought this receiver thinking that it has 3-years warranty. Box arrived clearly stating only 1-year warranty for Refurbished. Not a big deal, I can always buy Extended Warranty thru SquareTrade or CPS. The AVR itself looks to be brand spanking new, not a scratch on it. So I think Onkyo is sticking these new units in Refurbed boxes so they can sell them for discount. New RZ840 is coming out, looks like they're clearing out inventory of RZ830. It's a great deal at $498.99!

I was concerned about getting this unit since it doesn't coming with Audyssey RC. It does have AccuEQ Advance which does 3 position measurement. After calibration, I'm very happy. Sounds just as good as my older Denon Audyssey. Great clarity and crispness in all the channels. I'm running 5.2.4 Atmos setup with 2X Monolith 10 THX subs and 4x Monoprice 8" in-ceiling and Energy FLC. Only thing I don't like about this AVR is it have only 1-line FL display. It doesn't display Audio decoding mode by default (ie 'Dolby Atmos'). I constantly have to press 'info' button on remote to cycle the display so I can see what mode it's in. It does have OSD on the TV, so I guess I'll learn to live with that.
