Because those are fake coupons generated by some hacker. Stores have the old AS400 software which is vulnerable and hackable. Stay away from eBay coupons. Normally hackers used this method to obtain your address and contact information.Even though the coupon is digital delivery, they also mention that the item will be delivered in a day or something. There is an ongoing FBI investigation On this topic.
Take care, you might be able to use it and it will work. But believe me after you completely forget about that coupon or the purchase you did on eBay. They will come after you. All they need is only a few more information about you!
What's your source on this?

they record your driver license information. it becomes store credit that only you can use (so your wife can't go to buy flowers) and it can't be used for online purchases (where the good deals are). im never buying a lowes gift card again.

Just purchased, how long does it take to receive a code? I was about to go to Lowes to buy rubber mulch when I saw this, so waiting on code. + 10% military discount should be a nice 30 dollar savings.
Can I ask about your math?

...assuming you are making a $100 purchase (as you can only order one $100 gift card for $90 from NewEgg).

If you bought the $100 gift card (for $90) and went in the store and bought $100 worth of rubber mulch with your 10% military discount...doesn't that come out to roughly a total discount of ~20% vice 30%??

BTW, I saw someone put down rubber mulch in their yard....and during a very heavy downpour (kinda downpour where the yard starts to flood in places)....the rubber mulch started floating away...and going where the water floated to! That rubber mulch ain't gonna get water logged like good ole fashioned wood chips!

Dang...what do I do now? I bought like alot of codes past few years for house projects....
Maybe I'll just look for another house...cuz they have my address. I jsut changed my eBay email and closed my PayPal account. I'll see if I can ask for new credit cards...
Maybe eBay should protect buyers...

Hell I don't know, but I paid $90 and I got 100+ dollars worth of mulch, they had a bag a tiny hole in it, and they gave it to me for free lol. I also get 10% off in store purchase, so saved 10% on the card 100 for 90, and another 10% in real store purchase of 100+

I didn't spend any $ out of my pocket, so I got my worth.

its been down a few rains now, no issues, I have a rubber barrier around the flower bed, its like a plastic lip.

When do you scan the coupon during the checkout process? When I tried it keeps saying insert coupon even though it's already scan
just saw this, you are supposed to deposit a physical coupon on the slot below (blinking green light) you can fool it by inserting any piece of paper.

Thank you. That is exactly what I wanted to know.
So you just scan the coupon during checkout when you are scanning your purchasing items right?

yes, scan the coupon after scanning all your items in. i have done the 30 off 50$ and 20 off 100$. the only issue i have is when paying with a digital giftcard. it will ask you to swipe (nothing to swipe) and you can't scan the GC in. Then when the associate tries to help you, they can't transfer the transaction to another register because you used a coupon. They end up cancelling the transaction and doing it all over again... only this time the coupon comes up as being used already. So far they have been good about it and they give me the coupon discount anyways. But in the future i'm only going to use physical giftcards. The whole point of the self-checkout is to avoid the employee.
