I have a feeling we will see the 46mm Galaxy Watch new for around $200 come black friday. I would imagine the 42mm will be under $200 for sure soon. Personally I would say wait unless you have money to burn and don't mind buying refurbished electronics.

Black Friday is a joke and a lie these days. Most of the good deals are to be had well before then with companies trying to get into the black early on.

LTE version is only $2 cheaper which is worth paying for, even if just for future resale value.

Anyone know when the next Galaxy watch is due out? The current model was launched a year or so ago, right? I know the Active was just refreshed, but I prefer the more rugged look of the Galaxy.

Thanks. This is a decent price, but having no compelling reason to buy a smartwatch I'll probably hold out a bit longer.

does the LTE version not have bluetooth (i.e., only operates as a stand-alone watch)? is it either bluetooth or LTE, 1 or the other but not both?

The LTE version has bluetooth, wifi, and GPS. It will operate connected to your phone, and then standalone on LTE provided you hook up the SIM card with your cell provider.

I'm with TMobile and it's $10 a month extra. If I'm not with my phone but I have the watch, the watch will ring and I'll get texts and whatsapp messages to it as well.

Can stream Spotify from the cloud, GPS etc. Be warned that stuff really sucks the battery though.
