These things are so wasteful, but they are convenient. Maybe not something we should buy regularly, seeing already the huge plastic problem we face...

Keep telling yourself that so you can sleep at night. We used to export our trash to Asia and Africa. Now no one wants to take it and it's starting to pile up here.

Yup. You can't just wipe your hands of this.

We are part of the problem. We've been shipping our trash to Asia and anything deemed non-recyclable gets chucked indiscriminately.

I agree completely. These are definitely useful in certain instances, but I try to use this otherwise: https://www.amazon.com/GUM-Flossm...00N25B4IW/

93% of oceans plastic comes from rivers in Asia and Africa. Want to make a dent in the problem, start there. America's plastic disposal is relatively nothing.
-The more you know.

Regarding the deal, it's not a bad deal. I prefer flossers on the stiffer side so in for 1.

Yeah, our plastic goes into landfills, which will someday be mines when we run out of fossil fuel. In other parts of the world, disposal of trash is simply tossing it on the ground or in a body of water.
